As the consumer demand for re-purposing and recycling continues to grow, we are pleased to announce the ongoing development plans for our Recycling Facility in Plymouth.
Our South West recycling facility is a three acre site located in a secluded part of the South Hams district on the outskirts of Plymouth. The existing operations in aggregate recycling have now expanded on site to include a waste transfer station. This will now be able to receive general waste, as well as construction and demolition waste. We plan for this to be operational by the end of 2019/January 2020.
In addition to this facility, we have now secured a premises within the site for timber, plasterboard and plastic recycling capabilities.
This development is a part of our wider company commitment to minimise waste, and utilise efficient recycling methods, as we strive for a policy of 100% zero waste.
