Dorton Group Supervisor Briefing
The second of two briefing sessions for Dorton site Supervisory staff took place on the evening of 17th February 2016 at the Hickstead Hotel.
This year the company introduced a Daily Briefing program together with Task Analysis to be carried out for each and every task on all of their sites. This new initiative is a result of feedback and reporting from both the supervisory staff and the site safety inspection regime findings on how effective or otherwise hazard identification, risk assessment and the establishment of control measures has been. As with all new initiatives that require some documentation completion there are the inevitable hiccups and uncertainties as to how much information and what level of detail is necessary so these informal briefing sessions are both informative and well received and reaffirm the Dorton Group commitment to reduce instances of ill health, accidents and near misses.
