Dorton Group receives top accreditation by Investors in People
We are delighted to announce that Dorton Group has successfully met the Investors in People Standard at Gold level.
The Gold Standard award has been viewed for many years as the benchmark of outstanding management practice, currently achieved by just 7% of Investors in People accredited organisations. We are rightly proud of this accreditation from Investors In People South of England and plan to continue working to these high standards of performance and conduct.
Dorton Group celebrated twenty-five years of successful business in 2010. Since then we have grown into one of the leading demolition companies in the UK. We provide a systematic approach and our clients are offered practical on or off-site solutions to all ground condition concerns as well as comprehensive control of quality and performance on all projects by well-managed and experienced teams.
Our project portfolio includes the demolition of Brighton’s West Pier site for client Marks Barfield Architects. The innovative i360 viewing tower which will replace the old pier structure achieved planning permission in October 2006 and will stand at 170 metres, taller even than the London Eye. Over the last few years we have also undertaken large scale demolition operations on historically important structures such as the Wish Tower Cafe in Eastbourne, St Pauls School in London and Brighton General Hospital.
